Mike's professional career
isn't limited to day-to-day operations of CLI. He has served to make the intermodal
and transportation industry a much safer and reputable industry.
Among professional organizations
that he belongs to, Mike has served as Chairman of the Board for The Intermodal
Association of North America and the American Trucking Association Intermodal
Council.
Mike's reputation in the
business makes him a leader among his peers, especially in the business community.
Perhaps Mike's biggest
accomplishments are in the field of charitable organizations. He has served
on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and also Youth Villages
for several years. With Youth villages, he is credited to raising $20 million
for the organization for a new family treatment center. He was recognized
by Youth Villages by naming the Family Counseling Center after him for his
dedication to Youth Villages.
Mike was born in Chicago,
Illinois, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.S., Business
Administration). Mike has been married 32 years and has two children.
