The goals of the Traffic Club of Memphis are to promote greater knowledge in the traffic, transportation, and logistic field by the exchange of information, experiences, and ideas; develop appreciation of the profession; and encourage continuation of the profession by offering college scholarships. These goals are summed up in its mission statement: “fostering of professionalism of the members by providing a networking system and a forum for presentation of transportation, distribution, and logistics topics”.
Founded in 1913, the Traffic Club of Memphis still focuses on the successful growth and evolution of the logistics industry in Memphis and throughout the world. The Club is composed of individuals from all aspects of the movement of goods within the U.S. and globally.
